Dare to Bare Your Legs

2013 was the summer of the maxi dress. 2014 is the summer of legs! Like most women, I’m a sucker for shoes and I’m determined to dress around them. From sandals to heels and cowboy boots those bad boys are going to get the attention they deserve.

Ellen Tailor Black ASOS Swing Dress

A few friends had been raving about the online shopping site ASOS for so long that the name was familiar but I was hesitant to buy anything that I couldn’t touch or feel first. That changed a few weeks ago during our girls trip to Victoria, British Columbia.

Ellen Tailor Black ASOS Swing Dress Covet + Keep

My fashionista soul mate is my good friend Melanie. We text almost everyday about fashion, accessories, and deals. When I saw her in this ASOS dress, I had to have it. I mean, look at how cute it is and it’s got pockets! The site was sold out in my size so I bought in the a dark green color and love it. (I’ll post pictures soon!) I also purchased this black swing dress that has neon flecks of color throughout. Note: The neon flecks were a great surprise once I got the package because the photos on the site didn’t represent them well. Click the photos below to purchase either of these dresses.

The black dress with neon flecks is only available in gray now. Below is a similar shift dress but with a different neckline which I actually like more.

As I scoured the ASOS website for this post, I couldn’t resist temptation and made a purchase. Three dresses and a hat. Guys, I couldn’t help myself! Below are photos of what I bought. Click the pic to purchase the items for yourself.

I justify the purchase for two reasons. 1) I needed something for the upcoming Hometown Throwdown concert that I’ll be hosting. 2) Dresses are currently 25% off! Below are some of my favorite finds for different occasions.

For the animal lover…

For the curvy ladies…

For music festivals like the Hometown Throwdown or Watershed…

For date night…

Dresses I love…
