My First Blind Date with Brett Eldredge

If I’m going to go on a blind date, it might as well be with up and coming, Midwest born and bred, funny and sexy country singer Brett Eldredge!

Ellen Tailor Brett Eldredge Fitz In The Morning Blind Date - 2To be fair, I wasn’t the only one on the Blind Date. Our morning show hosted a concert for our listeners where they didn’t know who was performing until we brought them out on stage. I found out just a few minutes before everyone else who it was.

Guys, I swear, Brett was giving me “eyes” during his performance. Our intern caught it on film! Proof that we’re going to live happily ever after. 😉

Progress! Slowly but surely maybe I’ll become the girl Brett Eldredge is singing about in his latest music video for “Mean to Me.” 😉

These Are a Few of My Favorite Things

My March favorites can be summed up in one outfit. My favorite Old Navy denim, that I should retire but instead I bought another pair because I love them that much! These boots I snagged for a steal from Hautelook have only left my feet when I sleep.

I’ll be honest. I dressed around this Jewelmint necklace. I’m pleasantly surprised how versatile it is. Honorable March Favorites: China Glaze nail polish in “Flip Flop Fantasy” and every midi ring ever invented!

Sunny Seattle Sunday

There’s not much better than a sunny day in Seattle. Despite what everyone says, it does NOT always rain here. The sun is out, the sky is blue, and I’m thirsty for a mimosa with a side of gossip with my gal pals.

I’m embracing Spring by popping this amazing orange color on my fingernails. Originally I had chosen a pink polish but as I got my manicure yesterday, I spotted the chick next to me using this China Glaze color and I had to have it! Flip Flop Fantasy is so cute and it matched my mimosa. Cheers!

Ellen Tailor Brunch Lola SeattleMy nails weren’t the only thing orange. I was inspired and used citrus tones for my make-up. An amazing Coastal Scents eye shadow palette I had purchased a year ago from Hautelook came in handy. I pulled the look together using the Milani baked blush in “Luminoso,” an orange tinted lipstick with a coat of Nars gloss in “Orgasm.”

A JewelMint Review

Besides being on the verge of death, the second worst thing about being sick is the lack of restraint when it comes to online shopping. I’ve discovered my new favorite jewelry site…JewelMint!

JewelMint is a jewelry subscription box service much like IPSY is for beauty. Keep reading for not one, but TWO, promo codes that you can use! Here’s how JewelMint works:

After stalking the site for weeks I finally decided to give JewelMint a shot. Using a promo code, I was able to buy two pieces for the price of one ($29.99).

I had read plenty of reviews before taking the plunge and I think those that write negative ones are expecting too much from JewelMint. Here’s the thing, they don’t claim to be gold! It’s costume jewelry. They often have great deals, promotions, and ways to earn Style Points that can be used towards discounts. Would I spend $29.99 for every piece on the site? No. Is it fun to spend a mindless afternoon searching the site for a great find? Absolutely!

Want to give JewelMint a try? Here are TWO promo codes you can use for your first purchase.

JMFIRST8 – $8.99 First Piece (Excludes Collective, Mystery Boxes, Sale Items and Studio Series. Code set up for pieces valued at $29.99.)

1FORYOU – Get 2 Pieces for $29.99 (Excludes sale items, Collective Collection pieces, Studio Series pieces, and Mystery Boxes. Promo code discount will be equal to the value of 1 credit piece.)

Click HERE to try JewelMint for yourself!

Remember: JewelMint is a subscription service box. It’s very easy to skip a month without being charged the monthly $29.99. All it takes is a simple click between the 1st and 5th of every month. If you forget to skip, you’ll earn a credit that can be used for a future purchase. You’re able to cancel your subscription at anytime.

Are you already subscribed to JewelMint? Which pieces are your favorite? Are there any other subscription boxes you absolutely love?
