I made (what should have been an obvious) discovery on Twitter the other night. It started with a plea for help…
Then a revelation…
Truer words were never spoken! I use this justification every single time I shop for shoes. With that said, I’ve been on a recent shoe bender. I can’t stop myself. Who am I to keep these shoe wonders to myself though?! Here are just a few of my favorites. And before you ask, no, I don’t own all of them. But I may or may not have purchased some of these recently. 😉 Any guesses which ones I’ve added to my collection?

My family was never one that took professional pictures every year. My parents were always content with school pictures. When my sister decided to visit me in Seattle, I thought I’d surprise her with a little photo shoot. It was something fun for us to do and doubled as a great Mother’s & Father’s Day gift for our parents.
While it’s May, it’s not quite warm enough to rock the summer dresses without something over it. I’m always a fan of mixing feminine pieces with masculine ones. I picked up this coral dress from Target and was immediately drawn to the unique collar. I try not to bring attention to my large bust but this was irresistable. (Not to mention it was less than $25!) I threw on my favorite bomber jacket that I’ve had for years and paired it with a pair of cowboy boots.
I’m counting down the days to summer where I can free my tootsies from these boots and throw on some sandals and maxi dresses! What’s the summer outfit you’re most looking forward to wearing again?

Ok. I’ve gotten really swept up in all of the Seahawks mania. I’m not going to apologize for that but for those of you that aren’t into football, we’re back to posts about fashion and beauty. But because I live in Seattle, the lack of vitamin D is real! Here’s how I fight the winter blues.
I’ve discovered the most amazing bronzer ever! Not only does it provide a natural glow, it smells like chocolate. Literally, chocolate! Two Faced has just released these Soul Mates bronzers in the colors “Ross & Rachel” as well as “Carrie & Mr. Big.” A little bit of bronzer goes a long way but do yourself a favor and pick up this perfect glow in either shade. Hell, why not splurge and get both?!
Tanning beds will kill you and spray tans scared me because who wants to be orange? My bestie, Alexis, is a TV news personality and she shared her trick with me. Sephora’s Tinted Self-Tanning Body Mist. It’s inexpensive and easy to use. Spray it on and rub it in after you hop out of the shower before putting on lotion. Just make sure to wash your hands afterwards and you’re good to go!

Meet my best friend, Charlie! He may be cute but he’s not the easiest model to work with. Besides, let’s be real, what broad walks their dog wearing 4-inch Altuzzara heels on the beach?!
I absolutely love that high end brands are partnering with Target to offer high fashion without the high fashion price tag. I snagged these Altuzzara heels on clearance and gladly added them to my wardrobe knowing they didn’t break the bank. I also picked up this vest and long sleeve shirt at Target, too. Dressing on trend doesn’t have to be expensive!
The gems are rented courtesy of RocksBox. Save on accessories by renting high end jewels for just $19 a month. Check out all of my RocksBox reviews here.
What I’ve been finding myself gravitating towards lately are purples, reds, and pinks. Both in clothes and makeup. I snagged this gorgeous matte lipstick by Milani and it was love at first swatch. Expect to see more of these colors added to my looks in the coming weeks.
What are you loving right now? Colors, styles, whatever! I’d love to know. Please comment below! (Hah, that rhymes.)

I don’t want to accept that summer is over. I can’t accept it! Ahhh! Well, let’s be real, I have to accept it but my wardrobe doesn’t. I really got into rompers towards the tail end of the season and instead of putting them away until 2015, I’m repurposing them for brand new Fall appropriate looks.
This Target (yes, Target) romper is no stranger to this blog. I wore to for my first blind date with country star Brett Eldredge back in August. This time around, I accessorized it completely different. I added warm tights, a bold bib necklace and a very wide belt. My gal pal, Jonna, actually loaned me the belt on a whim one night but it was too amazing for me not to show off. (Thank again, Jonna!)
This look is actually my second successful attempt. (Check out this post if you missed the first.)

It’s safe to say I overindulged on rompers and jumpers over the summer. If you’ve got a few of these one-piece-wonders hanging in your closet, don’t push them to the back never to see the light of day again. Transform them into new Fall looks! I paired this sleeveless tank romper with my favorite black bomber jacket and sheer black leggings. Toss on your favorite jewels with a big, felt, floppy hat and voila!
Check back next week to see how I transform this other romper in my closet. Also, in case you missed yesterday’s Sale Sunday, every Sunday between now and Christmas I’ll be listing my favorite items from outfit ideas to gifts for the holidays.
