Fur Fox Sake! This shirt is foxing amazing. (Heh. See what I did there?) I’d had my eye one this gem for months now. I hesitated because it’s a crop top and I’m no where near my goal weight but I’ve been growing more confident in my fashion choices. (Side note, check in tomorrow for a Weight Loss Wednesday post that I’m really proud of.)
As for the outfit. ASOS has become my go-to spot for clothes. As much as I enjoy fashion, I hate shopping. The idea of going to the mall kills my soul and I’d much rather do it from my couch. ASOS is always offering a discount so when everything was 20% off in honor of Memorial Day, I stocked up.
I bought these pants to wear with this top and thought it wouldn’t be versatile but I was pleasantly wrong! Check out my Instagram for a recent #ootd post. And o-m-g these suckers are oh-so-comfy. Did I mention they’re only $27 and also come in black?!

My family was never one that took professional pictures every year. My parents were always content with school pictures. When my sister decided to visit me in Seattle, I thought I’d surprise her with a little photo shoot. It was something fun for us to do and doubled as a great Mother’s & Father’s Day gift for our parents.
While it’s May, it’s not quite warm enough to rock the summer dresses without something over it. I’m always a fan of mixing feminine pieces with masculine ones. I picked up this coral dress from Target and was immediately drawn to the unique collar. I try not to bring attention to my large bust but this was irresistable. (Not to mention it was less than $25!) I threw on my favorite bomber jacket that I’ve had for years and paired it with a pair of cowboy boots.
I’m counting down the days to summer where I can free my tootsies from these boots and throw on some sandals and maxi dresses! What’s the summer outfit you’re most looking forward to wearing again?
Throw out the old school theory and wear white after Labor Day. White was on trend last winter and it is here to stay!
Admittedly I bought this white pleated skirt from Macy’s two years ago. I wore it once then got too fat to wear it again…until now. (In fact, I’ve lost even more weight since we took these pictures.) I had a tailor, thanks Mom, cut the lining so the bottom half of the skirt was sheer.

As the weather starts to turn, I’ll be pairing this skirt with either a cropped sweater or even maybe a baggy one that’s knotted at the waist. The possibilities are endless!
I’d like to thank the beautiful city of Seattle for providing the STUNNING sunset backdrop for this shoot. God, I love you! Unfortunately, we snapped these pics a few weeks ago when the sun was still shining. Only 10 more months until summer!
Maybe I’ve been listening to Taylor Swift too much. Maybe I’m getting into the holiday spirit. Regardless, I’m on a red kick. From red shoes to red nails, I’m loving everything red.
Today’s outfit was all about comfort. I had a ton of work to finish up before heading out for the long weekend then made a mad dash to the grocery store. Luckily I beat the rush and made it out with a cart full of Thanksgiving necessities. I’m hosting Friendsgiving at my house again this year and really enjoy cooking for everyone. I especially love these amazing vanilla pumpkin muffins I whip up. What’s your favorite holiday dish? Got any recipes you care to share? I’d love to hear them!

Check out what happens when we run out of coffee at the radio station. An impromptu, way-too-early morning, photo shoot! I’d say it’s pretty obvious I have a lot of fun at work.
I absolutely love this vest I found at jcpenney over the summer. The color is on trend and it’s not form fitting so I can hide the area I’m most self-conscious about…my midsection.
Over the summer I wore it as more of a tank top. To transition it to Fall, I layered it with a loose fitting t-shirt and paired it with my favorite comfy boots. Unfortunately, I don’t think you can buy the vest anymore but I found one that’s similar.
The Rockstar style pants from Old Navy are one of my favorites. Not to mention they’re budget friendly, too!
